John Aaron

For the past 21 years John Aaron has served ELITE Football Combines in a variety of capacities. In 1990, John joined ELITE Football Services (EFS) as Regional Director for the Richmond , Virginia location. By 1992 John became an ELITE National Field Consultant (NFC); a position offered only to ELITE’s most accomplished Regional Directors. In 1999, after the ELITE Richmond combine was relocated to Baltimore , John was appointed ELITE’s Director of National Field Consultants. In this capacity, John oversees all recruiting and training of NFC staff members, and is responsible for data accuracy, drills precision and quality control at ELITE’s New Jersey, Baltimore and Atlanta combines.

While assisting EFS, John has served as Staff Director for ELITE’s national crew that conducted four combines on behalf of the XFL In 2000. He also served in the same capacity when ELITE was tapped to conduct combines for the All American Football League in 2007.

In 2004, John was named Executive Vice President/Director of Combines for the National Athletic Testing System (NATS). NATS is a program funded by the NFL and developed by the American Football Coaches association to foster uniform standards and practices for high school football combines. As NATS combine director, John works directly with state high school coach associations and is responsible for quality control at all NATS combines.

John’s football career began in Long Island , New York at St. Dominic’s High School. Recruited out of high school, John played college football at the University of Richmond where he started at center for the Spiders. Following graduation in 1988, John enrolled in graduate school, earning a Masters in Sports Management in 1991. While in graduate school, John joined the Spider coaching staff where he coached the offensive line and tight ends until 1993.

In addition to his positions with EFS, John is a founding partner of Go Sports High School Combines and works as a consultant for Selling For Coaches, Inc.

John is a resident of Richmond , VA and has two children, Kayla and Nick.
