Harper Resigns

Harper Signs with Colts for $1.368 Million

CB Nick Harper had 94 tackles and 4 INT as the Colts starting RCB in 2003.

April 23, 2004 - ELITE alumnus Nick Harper has accepted the Indianapolis Colts $1.368 million tender offer for 2004. By offering the restricted free-agent a first round tender offer the Colts would have received a first round pick had Harper signed with another team.

As a 16 game starter for the Colts in 2003, Harper recorded 94 tackles, 10 PBU, and 4 INT for 121 return yards including 1 touchdown.

Harper attended ELITE on March 26, 2000 and was quickly signed by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the CFL. After one impressive season in Hamilton he was signed by the Colts on January 16, 2001. He served as a reserve CB for two seasons before taking over the starting role in 2003.
