ELITE Alumnus Todd McMillon Re-signs with Bears
McMillon has appeared in 48 games with two starts in his five seasons with the Bears. He ranked second on the team with a career-high 21 special teams tackles in 2004 and plays on three special teams units: as a gunner on punt coverage, a safety on kickoff coverage and a corner on the punt return team. He has excelled in covering punts, helping punter Brad Maynard rank second in the NFL last season with a career-high 38.7-yard net average. McMillon played his college football at Northern Arizona University. He attended ELITE Combines in May 1996 and began his pro career in the CFL with the Saskatchewan Roughriders. After three successful seasons in the CFL, McMillon was signed by the Bears in 2000 and allocated to the Frankfurt Galaxy of NFL Europe in the spring of 2001. Related Links: |
