3 SC Alumni Make it to World Bowl XIV

May 26, 2006 - Three Scout Camp alumni will be playing for the Frankfurt Galaxy on Saturday when they face the defending World Bowl champion Amsterdam Admirals in World Bowl XIV.
RB J.R. Niklos, a 2002 Scout Camp participant, carried the ball 38 times for 136 yards and 1 TD during the 10 game NFLE regular season. J.R. was selected by the Galaxy in 4th round of NFL Europe Free Agent Draft. J.R. has played in the NFL for the St. Louis Rams, Oakland Raiders and Seattle Seahawks.
WR Adam Herzing, also a 2002 Scout Camp participant, was allocated to
Frankfurt
by the Pittsburgh Steelers. He totaled 14 receptions for 220 yards and 1 TD during the regular season. Adam has played for the Indianapolis Colts,
San Francisco
49ers, Detroit Lions and Pittsburgh Steelers.
CB James Taylor attended Scout camp in 2004 and 2005. He led the Galaxy with 8 special teams tackles during the regular season and also recorded 2 tackles and 1 pass defended as a reserve defensive back. James was allocated to
Frankfurt
by the New York Jets. He had previously been signed by the Green Bay Packers.
