The first number represents feet and will always be a "5" or a "6".  The 2nd and 3rd numbers represent inches and will range from "00" to "11".  The 4th number represents eighths of an inch and will range from "0" to "7".

The example below is read "6 feet, 2 inches and 3 eighths of an inch."

Weight
Weight is one of two measurements used to determine a player's size. The unit of measure is pounds. All weights are recorded using THREE numbers. Most player weights will be between 150 pounds (a small WR or CB) and 350 pounds (a large linemen).

40 Yard Dash
The forty yard dash measures a player's overall speed. Players start in a three point stance and run straight to the finish line 40 yards away. Times are recored in seconds, tenths of a second and hundreths of a second.  Times will generally range from 4.30 seconds (a very fast WR or CB) to 5.50 seconds (a slow linemen).

Short Shuttle Run
The short shuttle run measures a player's lateral quickness. Each player runs a total of 20 yards in increments of 5 yards, 10 yards and 5 yards. Most times will be between 3.75 seconds (a very quick WR or CB) and 5.00 seconds (a slow lineman).

Bench Press
The bench press measures a player's upper body strength. A weight of 225 pounds is used for all players. Each player lifts the weight off his chest into a straight arm position as many times as possible. The number of completed repetitions is recorded. The number of repetitions will usually range from 5 repetitions (a weak WR or CB) to 40 repetitions (a very strong lineman).

Vertical Jump
The vertical jump measures a players lower body strength. Each player jumps up as high as possible from a standing two footed position. Each player's standing reach is subtracted from his jump height to arrive at the total number of inches the player actually jumped. Each jump is recorded in whole inches and will generally range from 20 to 40 inches.
